Recruitment for Team Leader

The Team Leader will provide management and leadership to a team of Support Workers. You will be responsible for ensuring all current and newly referred individuals are properly assessed and that high-quality, person-centered support is provided for all supported young people within the homes.

You will ensure that all the support teams have the skills and competencies required and will provide a developmental focus for practice. The Team leader will ensure that all regulatory and contractual standards are met and exceeded.

The Team leader will ensure that Aden Homes is appropriately represented and working in effective partnership with key Local Authority providers and Social Work departments. The Team leader will act as an ambassador for Aden Homes Limited.

The Team Leader will be responsible for ensuring good communication channels are established and maintained to facilitate new referrals and joint working.

The Team Leader will be responsible for managing staff and delegated budgets in accordance with Aden Homes Policies and Procedures.

Key to the job is adopting a proactive approach to achieving a positive, engaging, promotional, and relationship building role with Local Authorities and all other stakeholders

You will be able to easily interpret and apply policy into practice including principles and practices of safeguarding adults at risk, financial management, and health and safety. Using your knowledge and skills, you will develop your team by providing leadership, through motivating and inspiring the best in others. Excellent communication skills are essential in order to develop collaborative relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.

The role will require working evenings, weekends, and bank holidays on a rota basis, and on occasions covering for sleep-ins. Part of the role could involve support worker frontline support delivery on occasion stepping in as needed.

Salary: £10.00 – £14.00 per hour

Recruitment for Support Worker / Senior Support Worker

We all know that that there is no place like home; Aden Homes Ltd support 16 – 18 year olds to choose to remain in the place they feel safe and protected.

As a Support Worker, you will be working in one household, typically with one to four young people (depending on the home) for the duration of the specified shift pattern (below). You will effectively become part of the young persons every day life, with the role encompassing teaching life skills, promoting independence, to managing complex behavioural needs.

Your role will play a pivotal part in enabling our young people to continue to remain independent and enjoy fulfilled lives and offer peace of mind to relatives that their loved ones are safe and well.

Our young people will rely on you to advise, assist and befriend them whilst providing them with support in all aspects of their daily living, so if you are dedicated and passionate about making a real difference to people’s lives, this could be the role for you.

Minimum requirements to work with Aden Homes:

  • The ability to forge great relationships and a personable nature
  • Passion for making a difference in young peoples life
  • Care experience would be beneficial to the role
  • You must have the right to work in the UK
  • You must have a good standard of English and be able to communicate effectively
  • An enhanced Child DBS check will be required
  • Due to the nature of the role, confidentiality is key

COVID-19 considerations: All homes have Lateral Flow tests available for testing and masks are provided as well as hand sanitiser.
